Chu Wanlai transmigrated into a novel, becoming the vicious villain in a melodramatic wealthy family drama.

The original character was Yu Qingyue’s father’s illegitimate son. After being brought back to the family, he resented Yu’s mother for refusing to let him be officially registered in the household. Harboring jealousy, he secretly caused chaos within the family, turning it upside down. When the male lead eventually uncovered his true face, the original character even tried to seize the family assets and harm the male lead.

When Chu Wanlai transmigrated into the story, he arrived just as the original character was about to push the male lead down the stairs in a fit of madness. Chu Wanlai withdrew his half-extended hand and wiped off the imaginary cold sweat on his forehead…

Yu Qingyue turned around and saw it was his cheap older brother, his eyes flashing with disgust. “What do you want now?”

In order to maintain the original character’s persona, Chu Wanlai forced himself to stay calm and blurted out, “I was thinking of pushing you…”

From then on, Chu Wanlai began his nerve-wracking journey of maintaining his villainous act while secretly trying to redeem himself. However, he failed to notice that his cheap younger brother’s gaze towards him was becoming increasingly strange…

Chu Wanlai: Why did no one believe me when I told the truth before, and now they still don’t believe me when I lie?

Yu Qingyue didn’t like his cheap older brother because he was the reason cracks began forming in his once happy family.
Yu Qingyue liked his cheap older brother because, even in this broken world, his brother tried to patch it together piece by piece…

Ps: Not incest! No blood relation! 1v1, mutual purity, slight angst with a happy ending.

The apex in this forest was an owl who live on the biggest tree. That was awfully helpful in fact the price wasn't fair since they would be discovered anyway if he and Beatrice saw an owl they would run and spend no time to wonder whether they are going to fight the King or not.

It was agonizing. After their shopping, they walked out with Yang Jiang holding nothing whereas Wen Lin was holding three shopping bags. She tried convincing him for a long time to help him, but since he strongly opposed her, there was no other option but to let him be.
